Context

The Commission of Psychologists is the independent federal public body responsible for regulating and protecting the psychology profession in Belgium. To practice under the protected title of psychologist, it is necessary to register with the Commission as a licensed psychologist.

The main mission of the Commission is to protect the general public by ensuring the quality of services provided by licensed psychologists.

Project objectives

The development project for the Commission of Psychologists had the following main objectives:

1. Revamping the aging website:

Modernize and redesign the website to offer a more intuitive user experience, reflecting a renewed visual identity.

2. Integration of a custom ERP system:

Implement a tailored ERP system to centralize the management of over 30,000 psychologists, including the regulation of the title usage, contributions, sanctions, and documents.

3. Autonomy and flexibility:

Provide the Commission with a tool that allows complete autonomy through advanced features, such as Odoo Snippets, facilitating the creation and management of web content with ease.

4. Optimized data management:

Ensure the update and publication of the official list of licensed psychologists in Belgium, with an accurate and centralized database accessible to the public.

5. Respect and monitoring of ethical standards:

Ensure adherence to the psychologists’ code of ethics by handling complaints and ethical questions in an organized and prompt manner, with dedicated management by different teams.

The implemented solution

For the Commission of Psychologists, the Odoo ERP was a strategic choice, offering a modern, scalable, and flexible solution.

This all-in-one solution allows for the management and tracking of tens of thousands of psychologists, the importation of over 20 years of historical data, and provides users with a new web browsing experience. It centralizes administrative management and simplifies web content creation, perfectly meeting the specific needs of the Commission.

Tailor-made administrative module

The “Compsy” module was designed to centralize all back-office administration for the Commission of Psychologists. It manages over 30,000 psychologists, including their contributions, sanctions, and documents, providing a comprehensive overview and precise control over all essential administrative data.

Customised website

Customized and pre-configured Odoo snippets aligned with the branding of the Commission of Psychologists have been developed. These pre-configured snippets allow for drag-and-drop of personalized blocks that match the website’s identity, thereby facilitating the creation of new pages in just a few minutes. This solution offers complete flexibility and autonomy, simplifying content management and enabling quick and easy updates.

Support ticket management

We customized Odoo’s Helpdesk module to manage ethical questions, complaints, and other inquiries. This module provides dedicated management by different teams, ensuring organized and prompt responses to each request, thereby optimizing support efficiency.

Adhesion system

Through a subscription system, we implemented a registration form and a payment tracking for renewals. This facilitates psychologists’ membership with the Commission and enables them to keep their renewals and data up to date seamlessly.

Integration of Itsme and eID

We have integrated Itsme and eID into the registration process, speeding up data completion and ensuring secure identification. This integration enhances the reliability of the information provided, further simplifying membership and information management for psychologists.
